Corochinato – white wine appetizer (asinello) Vermut
€16,00
Corochinato Aperitif Wine, or simply Corochinato, is a white wine flavored like vermouth born in Genoa, a local version of Piedmontese Barolo chinato, produced in Prà. The name itself indicates the origins in the locality of Coronata (choir-chinato); from its hills was born the white wine that was the main component of the recipe of 1886. Locally it is also known as Asinello, a name that derives from the label of the bottle that shows a drawing of the animal with the popular figure of Paciugo, protagonist of a legend 11th century set near the Sanctuary of Coronata, and is popular as an aperitif, smooth and served with a slice of lemon.
